According to Culture Map San Antonio, Oregon-based coffee franchise The Human Bean is expanding its San Antonio footprint, gearing up to debut a new outpost at 8403 Culebra Road — near establishments such as Dollar General, Fruteria La Tropicana, and Marco’s Pizza.

For readers who are unfamiliar with The Human Bean, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “The Human Bean was founded in 1998 with a commitment to developing the very best coffee drive-thru in Southern Oregon. Today, our franchise family spans hundreds of locations open and in development across the country.”

In addition to coffee-based beverages, the menu boasts smoothies and house-made energy drinks, as well as a selection of breakfast and lunch items that vary by location.

“This is the third Human Bean location in San Antonio, and the second owned by locals Jake Miller and Jacob Moore. There are now more than 260 locations across 22 states,” the Journal reports.

The new drive-thru coffee shop is slated to open in early 2025. Stay tuned for updates.
