According to a recently submitted permit application, a new venue — that will boast office space, a food truck park, and batting cages, to name just a few of the offerings its owners have planned for it — will soon be constructed in Garden Ridge.

Coming to 19186 FM 2252, The Revival will land just down the street from establishments such as Capparelli’s Italian Food, Grumpy’s Mexican Cafe, and Pollos El Gallo.

“We’re trying to have a community gathering place. The Garden Ridge community is expanding… we wanted to build something for the growing younger population as well as for the existing retirement community,” shares the upcoming venue’s co-owner, Eric Fischer.

Fischer shares that The Revival will total around 6,000 square feet and will include six pickleball courts, an indoor/outdoor bar with a rooftop deck, office space, an ice cream shop, a barber shop, a playscape area for kids, and a food truck park, a coffee shop, and indoor batting cages.

“We’re breaking ground in the next 30 to 40 days… and planning to open around this time next year,” Fischer concludes.
