According to MySA, the restaurateurs behind Albi’s Vite Italian Kitchen are debuting a new concept, Sunny’s All-Day Brunch & Bar, in Alamo City.
Coming to 518 River Road, the eatery will land near establishments such as Demo’s Greek Food, Summer Moon Coffee, and the hamburger restaurant Tycoon Flats N St Marys.
The restaurant’s owner, Albion Zogaj, tells What Now San Antonio, “The location is right across from the river; it’s a beautiful view. We’re going to have an outdoor patio that oversees the river and the city…. a signature cocktail list; we’re going to have some classics, some burgers, benedicts of course.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with Albi’s, the eatery offers a brief introduction on its website: “Our story begins in the Mediterranean, where we grew up making these Italian meals daily. Upon finding ourselves in Texas, we decided that our authentic style should be shared with the world; thus, the Vite was born. Acquiring a degree in business from UT Austin, Albi leads the operations of the family-owned restaurant, making sure every aspect is pristine.”
There are currently two Albi’s locations in the San Antonio area.
When asked about a slated opening date for Sunny’s All-Day Brunch & Bar, Zogaj says, “I want to say June first, but it might be delayed slightly.”
