Tiny Love Bakery owner Julie Barrette is getting ready to open her bakery she has worked hard on for the past year.

Barrette, originally from the East Coast, is opening her bakery soon at 4123 NE 42nd Avenue in the Cully neighborhood. The location is set to be window service and grab-and-go only. Barrette said it gives customers the opportunity to check out the neighborhood and eat at sit-down areas like Wilshire Park.

There will be meat and veggie options on the menu, with sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches, a grilled veggie pesto sandwich and a prosciutto mozzarella sandwich. There will also be signature pastries, bread and coffees. In an article from OregonLive.com, it’s mentioned there will be a rotating weekly menu with specials that have farmers market products.

“We’re kind of doing a smattering of fresh-baked goods,” Barrette said.

Barrette has always had a love for baking and has been organizing the new bakery for over a year. She is also the co-owner of the Topogato chocolate store in San Francisco.

“With the support of my partner, we’ve been working together to get this going,” Barrette said.
