Rosie’s Burgers, a beloved burger joint known for its classic smash burgers and nostalgic comfort food, is expanding again to Burlington at 2500 Appleby Line.

Following the announcement of a new Hamilton location opening soon at 590 Concession Street, the company has confirmed it will also be opening its first Burlington site this June 2025, according to Urbanicity Hamilton. Another location is coming to Toronto at the CF Shops at Don Mills at 49 Clock Tower Road. This location is expected to open sometime in Summer 2025. When these new locations open, customers can expect the same signature smash burgers, indulgent sides, and classic comfort food that have made Rosie’s Burgers a local favorite. With a focus on quality ingredients and a casual, welcoming atmosphere, the new locations will offer a familiar dining experience for burger lovers in both communities.

Rosie’s Burgers started in Port Credit and has since expanded across the Greater Toronto Area. The restaurant is known for its smash burgers, cooked for a crispy, caramelized exterior. In addition to burgers, Rosie’s offers a variety of items including fries, poutines, onion rings, chicken sandwiches, and milkshakes. The menu features items like The Rosie, a burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and special sauce, and the Classic includes cheese, onions, pickles, and ketchup. Rosie’s is also known for its homemade banana pudding.

Rosie’s Burgers was founded in 2020 by brothers Daniel, Bryan, and Dustin Gelman. It is named after their grandmother, Rosie, who inspired the company’s commitment to genuine hospitality and community. In 2024, Happy Belly Food Group Inc. acquired Rosie’s Burgers to consolidate and scale emerging food brands across Canada. Under Happy Belly’s ownership, Rosie’s Burgers has expanded rapidly, increasing from two locations to multiple operational sites across Ontario and Alberta. The company has also signed several franchise agreements, indicating a shift toward a hybrid corporate and franchise model to accelerate growth.
