A new corner store is coming to downtown Seattle as part of PCC Community Markets’ latest venture.
The first-ever small-format location, called PCC Corner Market, will open July 15 at 1320 Fourth Ave. The 6,500-square-foot space marks a scaled-down return after the original 19,000-square-foot downtown store closed in January 2024, according to Seattle Business Magazine.
The new market will offer grab-and-go options such as hot bar items, sandwiches, sushi and deli fare along with fresh produce, pantry staples and a selection of beer and wine.
“The launch of PCC Corner Market represents a new chapter in how we bring fresh, local foods to downtown Seattle’s residents and workers, and I’m thrilled to be part of it,” store manager Eli Dorr-Fay told the outlet.
Doors open at 9 a.m. July 15, with free samples, live music and giveaways for the first 50 customers. Regular hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
