Whitehall Township wine aficionados, get ready to raise a glass to your new favorite hangout. Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery is preparing to open a new location in the Lehigh Valley Mall later this summer, reports local media outlet WFMZ.

Blue Ridge’s new 938 Lifestyle Center home will be switching out beer for wine; the space previously housed Pocono Brewery Co. Taproom. Co-owner Randy Detrick states that he is hoping to have the establishment up and running in about a month.

While Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery certainly pours a superior glass of vino, the concept will offer so much more than simply that particular ambrosia. Future customers can look forward to a magical night out, complete with delicious, brick oven pizza. Detrick explains: “…you’ll be able to enjoy a glass of wine, pizza and time together in a beautiful atmosphere. We’re going to make that space gorgeous. There will be lights overhead and soft music playing. It will make for a very relaxing, beautiful evening out.”

Of course, the wine will be the star. Visitors will be able to enjoy wine by the glass or the bottle either al fresco or inside at the bar or a table. Guests will be able to purchase a bottle or two to take home with them.

Detrick and his team are prepared to accommodate whatever fashion patrons choose to enjoy their time spent at Blue Ridge. He explains that the vision is simple but pure: “We’re going to have delicious food and drinks in a really nice setting.”
