Number Thirty Eight, located at 3560 Chestnut Pl. and one of the most lively venues in RiNo, has made some changes to its space. According to Dining Out Denver, the business transformed its outdoor patio bar with a full-service branded partnership with New Belgium Brewing.

“We work with all these local breweries to give them authentic space at the bar. And we thought, why not take the same approach outside?” Spencer Fronk, co-owner, told What Now Denver. “We turned it into this New Belgium hole within Number Thirty Eight.”

One of the biggest patios in Denver has now been reimagined into the Wild Possibilities Bar, a fully functional, branded deck space. It took two months to transform and now features custom signage, waste and water lines, and an expanded New Belgium tap list — with the full Voodoo Ranger lineup.

“We’re all about presenting local products in a really authentic way. Consumers get a feel for individual taprooms. We wanted to lean into this outdoor social hall — where you could gather with friends, bring your dog, and have a taste of the outdoors — but in the heart of the city,” Fronk continued.

Fronk and co-owner Andrew Palmquist have been busy with other projects for the brand as well. What Now Denver announced in 2023 that Number Thirty Eight will open in Littleton at 7390 S. Broadway; that location is in the permitting phase.
