Flowood is getting a new spot to serve up fun as Paddle House prepares to bring pickleball, chef-driven food and a strong sense of community to the area.

Paddle House is set to open at 2323 Lakeland Drive, in the former Antonelli College space next to Primos Cafe, the Clarion Ledger reported.

According to its website, the concept combines elevated Southern hospitality with a relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy food, drinks and friendly competition.

The idea was spearheaded by Ridgeland-based real estate and investment firm Kerioth Corporation, which also owns The Club at Township.

“We’re excited to welcome a concept like Paddle House that brings something truly new to the Mississippi market,” said Kenneth Herring with Kerioth Corporation in a statement. “It’s not just about the sport. It’s about building community. Whether you’re playing pickleball, attending an event or just enjoying a meal with friends, Paddle House will be a place for everyone.”

Paddle House plans to feature five indoor pickleball courts, four covered outdoor courts and a family-friendly game yard with classics like pingpong and cornhole. A private event space will also be available for birthday parties and other celebrations.

The venue will serve scratch-made dishes, including artisan pizza, bold tacos and house-smoked meats, along with “crushable” cocktails. Catering services are also planned.

While an exact opening date hasn’t been announced, Paddle House is expected to open in 2026. In the meantime, its website encourages guests to “start practicing your victory dance.”
