Philadelphia (and surrounding areas) diners, get ready to shout “Pizza! Pizza!”. Little Caesars, one of the world’s biggest pizza chains, is actively seeking local franchisees to deepen the brand’s hold on the area, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Little Caesars is no stranger to the City of Brotherly Love; the pizzeria has 45 locations spread throughout the greater Philadelphia area. However, the concept has total regional domination on the mind and is intent on pursuing it. How, precisely, that will present is not something the company has revealed yet.

Basil Kazepis, Little Caesars’ vice president of U.S. development and construction, is demure about two salient facts-where and how many. He has not revealed either the number of restaurants the chain is hoping to open or what specific territories they are exploring. He did offer a hint about future locations, saying that the brand is interested in finding the territories where it has no presence and rectifying that absence. He states: “Ultimately, if we’re not there, we want to be there.”

Little Caesars has been feeding pizza fans since 1959, earning it the distinction of being the third largest pizza chain worldwide. The new Philly locations will of course honor that tradition while employing the restaurants updated design and decor scheme.

Philly loves its pizza and Little Caesars is enthusiastic about satisfying the city’s hunger for fresh pies. Kazepis says: “It’s a great market that fits how we integrate with neighborhoods and communities.”
