A new Chick-fil-A is currently under construction in Sacramento.

According to the company’s website, the popular chicken sandwich chain is expanding to 2436 Watt Ave, near the intersection of El Camino and Watt avenues in Arden Arcade‘s Country Club Plaza.

Chick-fil-A is known for its hand-breaded chicken sandwiches, crispy waffle fries, and friendly customer service. The chain currently operates nine Sacramento-area locations in Elk Grove, Folsom, Granite Bay, Rancho Cordova, Rocklin, Roseville, Arden Arcade, South Sacramento, and Old Foothill Farms.

“It’s our pleasure to confirm we will be opening a new Chick-fil-A restaurant, Chick-fil-A El Camino & Watt, in Sacramento in late 2025,” the company said in a statement. “We look forward to joining the community and serving all of our Guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality and care.”

Helmed by local owner-operator Jeremy Youngers, the new location is actively hiring team members for both full- and part-time positions. “We are excited by the prospect of joining this neighborhood, where each locally owned and operated restaurant creates 80 – 120 jobs,” Chick-fil-A added.

Alongside its signature chicken sandwiches, Chick-fil-A’s menu features chicken nuggets, salads, soups, milkshakes, and breakfast items like the Hashbrown Scramble Burrito and Spicy Chicken Biscuit.
