The burger chain with their signature Flint coney will have a new home in Walled Lake.
Halo Burger recently signed a lease for a new space at 1163 E West Maple Road in Walled Lake. This follows the opening of the company‘s Clinton Township location. According to Achille Di Nello, CEO of Halo Burger, the company is looking at opening the burger spot in November.
The newest Halo Burger location in metro Detroit is at 41554 Garfield Road, and this opened at the end of June. Fenton, Grand Blanc, Burton and Flint also have Halo Burgers. Di Nello told What Now Detroit there are plans to add three-to-four new locations to the state each year, but the areas have not yet been identified.
The company has been serving patties to Michiganders since 1923. Di Nello recently acquired the brand, and he carried out a merger with the donut chain Cops and Doughnuts in Clare. The Walled Lake location will be corporate-owned.
Their signature burgers include the QP burger and beefy double, and the brand is also known for their Flint coney and chicken strips. Wisconsin cheese curds are also offered as sides. The menu will be the same as other locations with no new additions, said Di Nello.
The new restaurant will be on the north side of W Maple Road next to Moonlight Mediterranean Restaurant and Subway. There has been no official announcement from Halo Burger on the new location. More details will follow at a later date.
