It looks like a new nightlife hotspot is on the horizon for downtown Sacramento.

Archive is set to occupy the former District 30 space at 1022 K St. In an Instagram post announcing the news, the team wrote, “Prepare to step into the Archive. Sacramento’s newest nightclub and cocktail lounge is coming soon.”

While details about Archive have not yet been disclosed, the venue is spearheaded by California restaurateur and nightlife connoisseur Danny Shafazand, whose portfolio includes NOVA Nightclub in downtown San Jose, Wild Rose Eatery & Bar in Campbell, Bell Tower Café in Saratoga, and Second Story Cocktail Lounge in Los Gatos.

Cori Aguilar, a partner at Wild Rose Eatery & Bar, recently posted on LinkedIn seeking a social media manager for the new concept, teasing that Archive will serve as a “craft cocktail bar and lounge with an old world mystique.”

Archive is slated to debut in downtown Sacramento before the end of summer 2025. The team is actively hiring; interested candidates can email [email protected] for more information.
