Last week, What Now Sacramento reported that local favorite Tequileros Taqueria was eyeing Davis for its next expansion. Now, the Mexican street food chain is turning up the heat with three additional locations.
In a recent social media update, Tequileros announced that, along with its upcoming Davis Collection debut, the chain will be opening new outposts in Roseville, Fair Oaks, and Elk Grove. “The Tequileros Takeover continues,” wrote the team. “We’re expanding in the 916… Follow us for more.”
Exact addresses and opening dates remain under wraps for now, but fans can anticipate the same drool-worthy menu that’s put the brand on the map—tacos, tortas, loaded fries, bowls, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and more.
Founded in 2021 by Edgar Gomez, Tequileros Taqueria has rapidly grown from a single food truck into a regional powerhouse, with multiple taco trucks and brick-and-mortar restaurants across the state.
