It looks like a new fast-casual fusion restaurant is headed to downtown Placerville.
Indian Pizza & Bar is preparing to open at 512 Main St, according to the eatery’s Google Business page. While the restaurant was initially slated to debut on August 8, 2025, the team announced that the launch has been delayed indefinitely due to “unexpected circumstances.”
“We were all set and excited to welcome you to the Grand Opening of Indian Pizza & Bar, but due to some unexpected circumstances, we have decided to reschedule the opening date,” reads an Instagram post from the restaurant. “We truly appreciate your excitement and support so far, and we promise to come back with an even bigger celebration and amazing offers very soon!”
Once the doors open, diners can look forward to an Indian-Italian fusion menu, featuring dishes like chilli paneer, veggie curry, and tandoori chicken alongside wings, wraps, pastas, salads, and classic pizzas.
Indian Pizza & Bar plans to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner six days a week, closing only on Sundays. The owner did not immediately respond to What Now Sacramento‘s requests for comment, so be sure to follow Indian Pizza & Bar on Instagram and Facebook for the latest grand opening updates.
