There’s exciting news in the air for Fairfax County diners and entrepreneurs alike. Enduringly popular fast-casual brand Checkers & Rally’s is making a push into the Northern Virginia market and is actively pursuing both locations and franchisees, reports local media outlet FFXNow.

While no leases have yet been signed, nor have any particular markets been named, a representative states that Springfield is on the chain’s radar. Alongside storefronts, Checkers & Rally’s is vetting franchisees-both those completely new to the brand and those already affiliated who want to deepen their connection.

Senior Director of Franchise Development Robert Bhagwandat explains the allure of the NoVa market, saying: “As the brand continues to grow nationally, Northern Virginia stands out as a region where forward-thinking franchisees can thrive with the support and resources we offer.”

Fairfax diners can look forward to quality, straight-forward American fast-food. The Checkers & Rally’s menu focuses on classic favorites like burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, and-of course-fries.

Bhagwandat believes that the Fairfax dining scene is primed for what Checkers and Rally’s brings to both the literal and figurative table. He states: “Fairfax County presents an ideal market for Checkers & Rally’s expansion due to its strong economy, diverse population, and supportive business environment. We’re seeing increased interest from emerging franchise candidates, particularly younger entrepreneurs drawn to our model and ongoing innovation.”
