Superpoint, a popular pizza restaurant known for its thin-crust pies and pasta, has temporarily closed its location in Toronto at 184 Ossington Avenue.

The closure, which took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, was first reported on Instagram by Rick Silver and later reshared by the Toronto Restaurants page, including Streets of Toronto. While Superpoint has not issued an official statement, their online presence suggests the closure may be temporary, with potential renovations underway at the site.

The business is currently marked as “temporarily closed,” according to Google. Meanwhile, Superpoint’s official Instagram account has been responding to comments with phrases like “brb” and “We will be right back.” The account’s bio has also been updated to say “Be right back,” and its only post echoes a similar message.

Superpoint first opened on Ossington Avenue to acclaim for its high-quality pizza and casual vibe. The menu featured a range of thin-crust pies and fresh, house-made pasta, which helped it stand out in a competitive dining corridor. While the team has not shared details about the future, social media hints suggest a return is possible.

The restaurant gained a following for creative pizza options such as an oyster and cremini mushroom pie and a salami pizza topped with spicy honey. Its distinct blend of classic and contemporary flavors drew regulars and industry fans alike. In the absence of a formal announcement, it remains unclear how long Superpoint will stay closed or whether the concept will evolve.
