Biscuit Belly is planning to bring brunch with Southern flair to a 3,364-square-foot space at The Avenue Peachtree City, with plans to open in April 2026, according to a release.
This will be a corporate-owned location for the brand, CEO Chad Coulter told What Now Atlanta. Originally from Athens, Georgia, Coulter made the leap from a career as a pharmacist to the head of the biscuit chain, which he launched in 2019. Currently, there is one other Georgia location for Biscuit Belly in Acworth. He is looking forward to bringing another spot to his home state with the upcoming Peachtree City location.
“We were looking at other locations. In the heart of Atlanta, it’s very hard to find real estate and it’s very expensive, so we started to look more at the suburbs surrounding Atlanta,” Coulter said. “We had heard really good things about Peachtree City. It’s a great food market for restaurants and is a thriving city, but you still get that great access to Atlanta.”
Coulter was attracted to the tenant mix at The Avenue and wanted to join the community there. He also saw a need for a quality breakfast and brunch restaurant in the area, especially one like Biscuit Belly. Rather than solely serving breakfast classics like eggs, pancakes and waffles, Biscuit Belly opts for a more unique menu approach, placing emphasis on their freshly made biscuits. Biscuit Belly offers signature biscuit sandwiches, such as Brisket Biscuit (with smoked brisket, spicy belly pickles and poblano-tomato sauce) and Mama’s Boy (with buttermilk fried chicken breast, roasted jalapeño pimento cheese, spicy belly pickles and fried green tomato). The brand also offers a bar program featuring brunch cocktails and handcrafted espresso beverages.
“I think we’ll be a very unique type of brunch experience,” Coulter said. “I feel we’ll be able to fill that void in the market.”
Currently, the brand has 14 locations and they are aiming to hit 20 locations by the end of 2026. They plan to open in North Carolina and South Carolina in 2026 and are expanding into Florida and Texas, as well. The team is focusing on the Southeast and hopes to continue to expand in Georgia, targeting Atlanta, Columbus and Augusta. Coulter hopes to hit 25-30 locations by the end of 2027.
