Big Spin Smoothies is skating into Snohomish’s Panther Square.
The new shop, owned by Daniel Alexander, will open at 723 Ave. D, Suite D, filling the 612-square-foot space.
“At Big Spin Smoothies and Skateboarding, we envision a world where people prefer fresh fruits and vegetables to fuel their bodies during their outdoor, physical activities…like skateboarding. Let’s enrich our lives with proper nutrition and keep it exciting by landing some new skate tricks. We’re here to support you no matter where you are on your journey to a healthy lifestyle,” the shop’s website reads.
The smoothie shop stands out with skateboard-inspired names. Each drink blends classic flavors with a sense of fun, making the menu as memorable for its titles as for its taste.
Signature choices include the “Berry Berry Big Spin”, a mix of berries and “Kickflippin Kale”, which packs greens and tropical fruit into a nutrient-heavy blend. “Passionfruit Powerslide” leans tropical, while “Boneless Blueberry Banana” delivers a protein-packed take on a classic smoothie.
Other names double as puns. “Pop Shove It PB&J” spins peanut butter and strawberry into a playful combo, while “50/50 Grind” and “The Dark Slide” add coffee and cocoa to the mix. Even simpler blends carry flair, with “Ollie Orange Cream” giving a citrus twist and “Strawberry Sugarcane” serving as a sweet staple.
The skate-culture theme continues with the “Sidewalk Surfer” build-your-own option, which lets customers design their own blends.
Along with its creative smoothies, the shop offers skater-inspired merchandise such as T-shirts, hoodies and hats.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the Big Spin Smoothies website reads: “Coming soon.” For updates, visit the shop’s website and follow along on Instagram.
