An ice cream parlor that debuted in Fort Collins earlier this year is preparing to open its second location in downtown Greeley. According to the Greeley Tribune, Edison’s Ice Cream will be moving into the historic Salzman shoe building at 911 Eighth Ave.
Town commission records show the new shop will highlight the 1920s to 1940s era of the building. Customers will be able to see original features, including the Salzman shoe sign outside and the building’s tall windows.
Owned by Nate and Krisanna Frary, they opened the first Edison’s Ice Cream shop in May in Fort Collins, which What Now Denver covered. This new Greeley outpost is targeting an opening by April 2026 or earlier, pending buildout and permitting. They also own several Dutch Bros.
The business offers premium ice cream with both dairy and non-dairy options, as well as house-made, gluten-free waffle cones. Flavors range from classics like Essential Vanilla to creative offerings such as Orange-Infused Olive Oil, Lemon Bar, and German Chocolate Brownie.
