1. Father’s Office

Father’s Office, an iconic LA gastropub, closed its doors in September 2025, ending nearly two decades in the Arts District.. The beloved gastropub in LA’s Art District served its final dinner on September 5. The gastropub was known for its carefully crafted beers and menu offerings, including a seasonal rotation of 36 craft beers on tap.
Father’s Office shared that rising inflation has led to its decision to close its doors.
2. Carla’s Fresh Market

Carla’s Fresh Market, which had been open less than two years, permanently closed on September 8.. The store was located in the Highland Park neighborhood and was known for its wine selection and handpicked fresh groceries. Popular items included baguettes from Bub and Grandma’s, olive oil bean salad, and other locally sourced produce.
Sharing the closing announcement through an Instagram post, the owner expressed gratitude and thanked the locals.
3. Michael’s on Naples

After 18 years of service, the Italian restaurant located in Long Beach, Michael’s on Naples, announced its closure on September 30. The restaurant menu featured upscale Italian cuisine, including homemade pasta, sauces, and gelato, paired with a specially curated wine list.
The restaurant wrote on social media, “As we pass the torch, we take comfort in knowing the same spirit and philosophy—centered on quality, integrity, and community—will live on. The company stepping forward shares our commitment to excellence, and we trust they will honor the values that have defined Michael’s on Naples for the past 18 years. Our closing date is September 30, 2025.”
