Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine, an established restaurant chain known for its authentic Turkish dishes, is relocating its Oakville location and opening new spots in Ajax and Downtown Toronto.

The Oakville location will move to a new address after temporarily closing its previous site at 3505 Wyecroft Rd. While an exact opening date is yet to be announced, the new location is expected to be up and running in Fall 2025. Sultan Ahmet, founded on bringing the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine to Canada, will continue to offer its popular menu of kebabs, doners, pides, and desserts like baklava.

In addition to Oakville, Sultan Ahmet is preparing to open two new locations in Ajax and Downtown Toronto. The Ajax location will be at 235 Salem Road S., while the Downtown Toronto site will be at 26 Alexander Street. Both new spots are slated for Fall 2025 openings. These expansions align with Sultan Ahmet’s growth strategy to bring Turkish flavors to a broader audience across the Greater Toronto Area.

Founded over 25 years ago, Sultan Ahmet has grown into a well-regarded name in the Canadian restaurant scene. The brand has built a loyal customer base with its focus on authentic ingredients and traditional cooking methods. The relocation and new openings reflect Sultan Ahmet’s commitment to expanding its presence and introducing Turkish cuisine to more Canadians.

Sultan Ahmet’s menu is a celebration of Turkish flavors, featuring dishes such as the Adana Kebab, Iskender Kebab, and various vegetarian options. The restaurant also offers traditional Turkish sweets like Pistachio Baklava and Trilece, alongside refreshing beverages such as Ayran and Turkish tea. Each location reflects the brand’s core values of quality, passion, and a customer-first attitude.

The expansion into Ajax and Downtown Toronto highlights the growing demand for diverse and authentic dining experiences in the region. Sultan Ahmet’s approach to Turkish cuisine, paired with its reputation for excellent service, makes the new locations well-positioned to become community favorites.
