A new Pizza Ranch restaurant is officially on the way to Colorado Springs. The franchise unit will be located at 3958 N. Academy Blvd. Suite 117, according to records filed with the city. It will open inside a redeveloped property previously used by Vanguard Church.

The upcoming location is being opened by Tim and Allison Kealy, who are partnering with Glen and Bambi Grady, owners of the Pueblo Pizza Ranch location. Kealy, who is also a retirement mortgage specialist with C2 Financial, has been sharing updates on Facebook.

He wrote earlier this week that construction is finally underway after permitting delays since submitting documents in May. While the original hope was to welcome guests by the close of the year, it now looks like the projected opening is slated for February. Over the summer, he shared that he and his wife spent over a month training at a Pizza Ranch location in Casper, Wyoming, to prepare for the opening.

This new restaurant will join more than 215 Pizza Ranch locations across 15 states. A Midwest-born brand that began in 1981 in Iowa, the company specializes in pizzas, chicken plates, wings, sides, and desserts. Many also offer buffet service and have a FunZone arcade.
