QDOBA Mexican Eats’ restaurant in Steamboat Springs has undergone a change of ownership, with a new franchisee taking over. According to Franchise Times, the location (1755 Central Park Dr, Suite 116) is now under the management of B Wild Investments.
That name might sound familiar within the franchise QDOBA system. That’s because we reported last month on a huge 50-unit deal the group signed with the QSR brand to open stores in Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, Alaska, and Colorado. Now, the operator signed a 20-unit acquisition deal to own 20 existing locations in Colorado and Alaska.
Barry Dubin is the founder and CEO of B Wild Investments. He is taking over for Flavors West, the former franchisee in Steamboat, and will also assume ownership of stores in Vail, Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Grand Junction, Montrose, and Colorado Springs.
B Wild Investments also operates Tide Laundromat franchises and plans to grow both brands across the Mountain West. Dubin is based in Aspen and was formerly the co-founder of KBP Brands, one of the nation’s largest quick-service franchise groups, with more than 1,000 Taco Bell, KFC, Arby’s, and Sonic Drive-In restaurants.
