A popular fast-food chain famous for its chicken sandwiches is opening a new location in Olympia.

Chick-fil-A will debut at 2932 Capital Mall Dr. under the leadership of owner-operator Matt Cuomo.

“Local Owner-Operator Mike Cuomo is excited to begin serving Guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality, providing fulfilling career opportunities for Team Members and giving back to the community through various partnerships,” Chick-fil-A, Inc. told What Now Seattle

This marks the chain’s first location in Olympia, with the nearest Chick-fil-A currently in Lacey at Marvin Road and Quinault Drive.

Chick-fil-A is best known for its signature chicken sandwich, served with a seasoned, breaded chicken breast, dill pickle chips and a buttered bun. The menu focuses on chicken-based items, including nuggets, strips and grilled options, along with a variety of dipping sauces that have built a strong fan following.

While an official opening date has not yet been announced, Chick-fil-A, Inc. said the restaurant is expected to open soon, pending any delays.

Chick-fil-A operates more than 3,000 restaurants across 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada. The first restaurant was opened in Atlanta in 1967 by founder S. Truett Cathy.
