ALDI opened its newest Chicago store in River North on November 13, welcoming shoppers with giveaways and special deals. A limited-time holiday deal is also offered at the store this season.
ALDI Expands its Presence in Chicago
Grocery giant ALDI’s latest store at 30 W Huron Street has opened for Chicago locals with its fresh, organic produce. The store features fresh produce, cheeses, and options for every diet, including plant-based and gluten-free choices.
Curbside pickup and grocery delivery options are available at the River North store. The store is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The latest Chicago outpost’s opening celebrations featured a gift bag for the first 100 shoppers. Through this, customers received a sampling of ALDI Fan Favorites products. A gift card was also offered under the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program.
Shoppers could also enter a sweepstakes to win a $500 ALDI gift card during opening weekend.

The grocery giant marks a step ahead in its target of opening 800 stores nationwide by 2028 through the latest Chicago store opening.
Festive Feast for Locals
For the holiday season, ALDI is offering a festive meal package for Chicago shoppers. For $40, shoppers can pick up a holiday meal kit to serve up to 10 guests, including a 14-pound Butterball turkey.
Other offerings are the ingredients for nine signature Thanksgiving sides, such as mac & cheese, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, gravy, and more.
This limited-time, affordable deal by ALDI stays active from now through December 24.

ALDI is offering Chicago families to save almost $4,000 on their grocery shopping while buying ALDI-exclusives over name brands.
Nearly 90% of items on the shelves of ALDI’s new Chicago outpost are filled with exclusive brands. These offerings feature fresh produce, organic meats, cheese and wine lineup, sustainable seafood, and more. Weekly offerings at the ALDI location feature limited-time items, including home goods, seasonal food, and more.
The River North store has eliminated single-use plastic bags, supporting ALDI’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and cut greenhouse gas emissions.
