Andrea’s Cookies, a Toronto-based bakery known for its rotating lineup of weekly cookie flavors, is getting ready to open a new location in Oakville at 270 Lakeshore Road East.

The company’s fourth location is set to open in December 2025, according to Toronto.com. While an exact opening date has not been announced, the business has already begun hiring for front-of-house, baker, and assistant positions to support the expansion. Customers can expect Andrea’s Cookies’ weekly rotating menu featuring six flavors, along with its typical selection of seasonal and limited offerings.

Andrea’s Cookies was founded in 2019 by self-taught baker Andrea Mears, who rediscovered her passion for baking during the COVID-19 pandemic. The business initially operated through online orders and personal cookie deliveries before rapidly expanding into a local favorite. Increased demand eventually led Mears to open the company’s first physical storefront, transitioning operations from a home kitchen to a dedicated bakery space. The brand’s steady growth has since positioned it as a notable player in the Toronto dessert scene.

The company currently operates three locations in Toronto, at 1632 Bloor Street West, 166 Ossington Avenue, and 2614 Yonge Street. Each location offers the bakery’s signature rotating menu model, which includes fan favorites, high-demand flavors, and seasonal specialties. The Oakville store marks the brand’s fourth location and its first outside Toronto, further extending its reach to customers seeking specialty baked goods within the Greater Toronto Area.

Andrea’s Cookies is best known for its weekly lineup of six flavors, which rotate based on customer demand, classic favorites, and new creations. Past offerings have included birthday cake, s’mores, honey cornbread, almond croissant, Dunkaroo, chocolate strawberry, tiramisu, coconut cream pie, and other specialty varieties. All cookies are made with the same base ingredients, consisting of all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, cornstarch, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. The bakery notes that it is not a nut-free facility, though certain flavors do not contain nuts.

The upcoming Oakville location is expected to follow the same format as its Toronto counterparts, offering a mix of its established favorites and new flavors as part of its rotating menu. With steady foot traffic, a strong local customer base, and growing demand for walkable retail along Lakeshore Road East, the area offers promising potential for the brand’s expansion.
