A celebrated Lebanese restaurant concept has chosen Maryland for the opening of its second location. Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen is already a hit in Florida thanks to owner Chef Rachid Eido’s refined family recipes, and soon DMV diners will be able to taste for themselves just why the Sunshine State loves it so much. Kareem’s will be opening in Gaithersburg, and signs indicate it’s coming soon, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.

The restaurant is taking over the 212 Boardwalk Place storefront that previously housed Bach to Rock. An opening date is not presently available, however “coming soon” signage is up in the window of Kareem’s new space. Additionally, the eatery is listed as “opening soon” on the Rio Lakefront website.

Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen is sure to bring something memorable and new to the Gaithersburg dining scene. Chef Rachid brings generations of history and recipes to the table, with his cuisine tracing its lineage all the way back to Beirut in the 40’s.

Chef Rachid explains the power of his dishes on the website, saying: “Cooking is the language my family has spoken for generations. From my grandfather to my father, they taught me that Lebanese cuisine is more than food—it’s a celebration of generosity. At Kareem’s, every dish carries that spirit.”

Guests can look forward to selecting from a menu featuring delicious and authentic meals like chicken farrouj, kafta, hummus, and mezze platters.
