6ixty Wings is set to lay another golden egg in the San Antonio region, with an opening at the new Krishna Retail shopping center. According to a recent state filing, the nest for the next installation of San Antonio’s 6ixty Wings is expected to open at 12030 Culebra Rd.
Construction on the new 6ixty Wings is slated to start at the top of February next year and wrap up by the end of June, with a summer 2026 opening.
The Canadian-based chicken chain launched their first San Antonio location on the city’s Northside in the Rogers Ranch neighborhood last year. According to MYSA, the Rogers Ranch location is the first US opening and has become widely popular since the brand flew into the Alamo City.
Founded by entrepreneurs Noreen Damji-Williams and husband Ace Williams in Ontario in 2017, 6ixty Wings has grown to more than 20 locations with many in the Greater Toronto Area. According to the 6ixty Wings website’s locations list, there are plans 6ixty Wings to spread its wings across the state of Texas, Dubai, Australia, India, and the UK.
Known for its 60+ wing flavors, hence the name 6ixty Wings, the fast-growing Canadian restaurant franchise also offers burgers, fries, salad, quesadillas, and wraps at its eateries. But the bread and butter of the establishment are, of course, the wings, which you can get on their own or in a combo with an array of sides to choose from.
“Our mission is to provide each customer a great, comfort and flavorful food experience. A true wing lover’s experience,” the website reads.
John Mehta is listed on the permit as the owner, and Gobe Jeganathan appears to be running point on franchising in San Antonio. What Now San Antonio reached out to both Mehta and Jeganathan for comment on the next 6ixty Wings to open in San Antonio, but we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
6ixty Wings is expected to open in the new Krishna Retail shopping center at 12030 Culebra Road by Summer 2026.
