I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! An iconic ice cream chain plans to launch a new Seattle location, bringing its classic flavors to the city this Spring.

Ben & Jerry’s will open its doors at 325 NE Thornton Place in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, led by franchise owner Lance Blair.

“We are excited to join the Thornton Place family!” Blair told What Now Seattle.

Blair has operated Ben & Jerry’s franchises for nearly two years, running locations in Seattle and Gig Harbor.

Scoop shops serve all the classic favorites, plus vegan non-dairy options made with oat milk, along with waffle cones, sundaes and shakes. Fan-favorite flavors include Americone Dream, The Tonight Dough, Phish Food, Half Baked and Cherry Garcia.

Ben & Jerry’s began in 1978 when founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield opened their first ice cream shop in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, after taking a course in ice cream-making at Penn State, according to the website.

More than 300 scoop shops now operate across the United States, including six in the Puget Sound area—Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland and Issaquah. The new North Seattle location will join the growing list.

Blair said there are no other locations planned for the area, but the Green Lake shop will undergo remodeling in January and February.

Ben & Jerry’s hasn’t announced an opening date yet, however visit the website and follow along on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
