Chick-fil-A, the popular fast-casual restaurant chain, is preparing to open a new location in Cicero, Illinois. The restaurant is set to open Thursday, January 15, under the leadership of local owner-operator Jesse Holzmer. To celebrate the opening, Holzmer and his team will offer a free entrée or kids’ meal to guests dressed in cow-themed attire.
New Chick-fil-A Restaurant Opens on Cicero Avenue
Chick-fil-A, famous for its chicken sandwiches, is opening a new restaurant on Cicero Avenue in Cicero, Illinois. The restaurant will begin serving customers on January 15. Jesse Holzmer will manage the location as a local owner-operator.
The restaurant announced the opening on social media, saying, “We are excited to announce that Chick-fil-A Cicero, IL will be opening January 15th, 2026!”
Talking about the new opening, Holzmer shared, “I’m honored to bring Chick-fil-A to the Cicero community and create a place where everyone in the community can feel welcome.”
“From sharing a meal with family to connecting with neighbors over a chicken sandwich, we’re excited to serve Cicero with open arms and great food,” he added.
Grand Opening Details
To mark the new opening day celebration, the Chick-fil-A Cicero will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. This move is aimed at supporting hunger relief efforts across the greater Chicago area.
The new chain location will also take part in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program. Through the program, the restaurant chain donates surplus food to local non-profit organizations.

Dress Like a Cow and Get a Treat at Cicero’s New Chick-fil-A
On the opening day, guests wearing cow-themed attire or cow-spotted accessories will receive a free entrée or a free kids’ meal.
The eatery is offering breakfast options that include Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill, or a 4-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis.
While the lunch and dinner options include a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, 8-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets, 8-count Grilled Nuggets, or a 5-count Nugget Kids’ Meal.
The opening-day offer is valid for one item per person in cow attire per day, while supplies last. No purchase is required to redeem the offer. It is valid inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.
The opening continues Chick-fil-A’s expansion in Illinois while adding another popular dining option for the Cicero community.
