Punjabi Haveli, a North Indian vegetarian restaurant, is getting ready to open a new location in Scarborough at 130 Westmore Drive.

The company recently announced the expansion on social media, joining existing spots in Etobicoke and Brampton. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the Scarborough site will introduce customers to Punjabi Haveli’s signature menu of traditional curries, tandoori dishes, street food, and vegetarian-friendly Indian-Chinese options. The restaurant is known for its 100 percent vegetarian offerings and customizable dietary options, including vegan and Jain selections.

Punjabi Haveli has built a reputation for slow-cooked, authentic North Indian cuisine. The brand focuses on recipes inspired by Punjab’s culinary heritage, including smoky tandoori dishes, rich gravies, and flavorful vegetarian chaats. The Scarborough location represents the next step in the company’s expansion across the Greater Toronto Area.

Each existing location blends traditional Indian culinary techniques with contemporary touches, such as tandoori naan pizzas and fusion wraps, while maintaining the core menu of classic Punjabi curries and breads. The new site will continue this approach, providing customers with familiar dishes alongside new menu options inspired by Indian street food and regional specialties.

Customers can expect the full menu, including signature chaats, momos, paneer dishes, thalis, and a variety of breads such as naan, kulcha, and parathas. Desserts include eggless pastries, falooda, kulfi, and classic Indian sweets like gulab jamun and rasmalai. The menu is fully vegetarian, with vegan and Jain-friendly options clearly marked.

This will be an excellent landing space for Punjabi Haveli in Scarborough, offering residents a diverse and authentic North Indian dining experience. The restaurant also offers catering services, group dining without gratuity, and a combination of dine-in, takeout, and delivery options to serve a broad range of customers.
