Toro Development Company Selects Mainsail Lodging & Development for Hotel at Medley
Toro Development Company (TDC) has announced Mainsail Lodging & Development as its development partner and operator of The Hotel at Medley. The award-winning management and development company is known for delivering premier hospitality experiences. It will play a significant role in seamlessly integrating the hotel into the vibrant mixed-use community.
Mainsail brings extensive experience in mixed-use hospitality developments to the project. Its Georgia portfolio includes Epicurean Atlanta in Midtown, Trilith Guesthouse in Fayetteville, and the historic Hotel Forty Five in Macon.

The hotel will connect directly to Medley’s public spaces and support TDC’s resort-style programming. It will complement the walkable layout of the community. The property is also expected to operate under a nationally recognized upper-upscale lifestyle soft brand.
Hotel at Medley: A Vision for Community and Connectivity
The to-be-named, 150-key lifestyle hotel will be designed to complement Medley’s mixed-use community. Plans call for modern guestrooms, a signature restaurant, and approximately 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space. This space will connect to the lobby and the adjacent greenspace.
The hotel will also offer resort-style amenities designed to attract business travelers, leisure guests, and local event attendees. The hotel will be surrounded by an impressive lineup of best-in-class retailers and restaurants.
About the Vibrant Mixed-Use Community in Medley
The boutique hotel will anchor the 43-acre Medley mixed-use community in Johns Creek. Located at the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road, Medley is a major mixed-use destination within the City of Johns Creek. The community weaves together quality housing, restaurants, retail, and offices through public pathways and parks.
The community consists of 164,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space. It will include 883 luxury residences, featuring townhomes and apartments, with 110,000 square feet of lifestyle office space. The hotel will embrace the energy of the community and will face the 25,000-square-foot greenspace in Medley.
The Medley community will open on October 29, 2026, as the ‘Third Place’ for the Johns Creek neighborhood. TDC has already secured a lineup of national and regional retailers and restaurants for the development. The retail mix includes STIR, Sephora, High Country Outfitters, BODYROK, Petfolk, Sugarcoat Beauty, BODY20, Drybar® Shops, Burdlife, Pause Studio, and Clean Your Dirty Face®.
The restaurant mix features Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill, Playa Bowls, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, Fadó Irish Pub, and Summit Coffee. It also includes Lily Sushi Bar, Knuckies Hoagies, Cookie Fix, 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar, Five Daughters Bakery, Minnie Olivia Pizzeria, Amorino, and Fogón and Lions.
