Wok Boyz, an Asian fusion restaurant specializing in customizable wok-cooked dishes, is getting ready to open a new location in Mississauga at 6550 Meadowvale Town Centre Circle.
The company applied to the City of Mississauga’s Planning and Building Department late last year for permits for the new restaurant, according to public records, and the site will be located within the Meadowvale Town Centre. Founder and CEO Gaurav Sabharwal tells What Now Toronto that this location isexpected to open on February 2. Customers can expect a menu centered on wok-based noodle and rice dishes, along with sides and bubble tea.
The Meadowvale Town Centre location will add to the brand’s growing presence in Canada. A representative from the company tells What Now Toronto that this is just the beginning for the company. Following the Mississauga opening, Wok Boyz plans to open new locations in Etobicoke, Oakville, and Toronto. The company tells What Now that it plans to expand outside the GTA by early next year.
Wok Boyz was founded in 2017, with its first location opening in Dubai. Since then, the brand has expanded internationally, with locations across the Middle East, Africa, and, more recently, Canada. The Mississauga restaurant is part of the company’s broader entry into the Canadian market, which began in 2024. The concept blends Asian street-food flavors with a customizable ordering system.
The Meadowvale Town Centre site places Wok Boyz within a busy retail hub that serves nearby residential neighborhoods and office areas. The shopping center offers a mix of dining, retail, and essential services, making it a natural fit for a fast-casual restaurant concept. This will be an excellent landing space for Wok Boyz as it continues to introduce its brand to Ontario customers.
The menu includes signature dishes such as Hakka noodles, nasi goreng, ramen, and wok-tossed options. Customers can also build their own wok by selecting a base, protein, vegetables, and sauces. Appetizers, rice bowls, and desserts round out the food offerings. Bubble tea remains a core part of the menu, with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty drinks available. All menu items are certified halal, and vegetarian options are offered across several categories. The Mississauga opening marks another step in Wok Boyz’s Canadian expansion.
Wok Boyz will also be offering an opening special on Hakka Noodles & Kung Pao Chicken or Veg WOK for $8.99.
