Following a brief hiatus, Flour Market looks to be coming back to the city.

It was reported by Bridgetown Bites that Flour Market Cafe owner Lisa Belt will be launching a new location soon. This follows the closure of their 5507 NE 30th Avenue cafe in December. A new address and opening date have not yet been announced.

The bakery and cafe has been in the Concordia neighborhood since 2020, serving many different kinds of breads, pastries and sandwiches. Favorite options are the pistachio shortbread and blackberry buttercream cookies. A new menu is being configured right now.

Flour Market Cafe also does catering, sending out sandwich trays, lunch boxes and assorted pastries or cookies. Right now, the bakery is in the “soft-open” phase as they are resuming operations at their production bakery, 2523 SE 9th Avenue. The second cafe is being planned alongside this opening.

“We’ll get regular pre-orders rolling soon and the Cafe 2.0 is still on track,” said the post.

The bakery production facility is attached to the GalleherDuffy Wholesale Flooring Products Store in East Portland. This is also close to Akadi PDX West African restaurant and Everywhere brewery.

As Belt searches for a new location, she is offering pre-orders to pick up items from the facility on Saturday. What Now Portland has reached out to Belt, and this article may be updated.
