A growing hospitality company in Naperville is bringing a new upscale option with grilled meats.
Naperville Community Television revealed a new steakhouse called The Belmont is opening at the former Catch 35 location, 35 S Washington Street. This is the sixth concept from Empire Restaurant Group. The plan is to have the restaurant open by this summer.
Owner Will Cullen has been behind projects like Empire Burgers + Brew at 48 W Chicago Avenue in downtown Naperville, The George which opened recently at 245 S Washington Street and Northcott Liquorette down the street at 40 W Chicago Avenue. Cullen’s first project was Burgers + Brew which opened in 2016. Since then, he has been growing the hospitality company in the suburb.
No menu has been released yet, but the restaurant is advertised as an “American steakhouse.” This means The Belmont could serve cuts like ribeye, New York strip, filet mignon and a porterhouse.
The new restaurant is close to chains downtown like MOD Pizza, Gia Mia and Sweetwaters Coffee. Also at the address is Zano Salon & Spa, still currently open. Signs for The Belmont are already up in the front window at the address.
