Company Background
The Dawg House Burgers and More serves patrons at its Buford location with a range of American-inspired menu items. According to Explore Georgia, the restaurant is led by chef-owner Michael Samuels. The quick-serve eatery is particularly known for its buffalo wings, potato fries, Philly Cheese Steaks, and southern fried fish & shrimp.
In August 2025, the eatery’s seafood-focused location in Sugar Hill, ‘The Dawg House Seafood Company,’ announced closure through Instagram. The reasons cited were health concerns and facility limitations.
Samuels said ongoing lung damage was aggravated by ventilation issues at the Sugar Hill space. One of his family members also faced a medical emergency at that time, prompting Samuels to step back and close the outlet.
