Millington residents feeling a little extra carb crazy lately needn’t worry. Waffle Mania, both the condition and the eatery, is coming for local foodies, with the restaurant accruing the various permits needed to open its doors for hungry residents.
The eatery will be opening at 8253 US HIGHWAY 51 N. There is not presently a great deal of information available about Waffle Mania. Paperwork filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development describes the concept as a “quick service restaurant”. A certificate of occupancy under review as of February 20 of this year shows that Waffle Mania will occupy a 1,500 square foot space and will have an occupant load of 40.
What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for further information and will update readers as details become available. While Waffle Mania has a certain element of mystery around it, based on the name it is safe to assume the concept will offer up delicious versions of the titular dish.
