Sanguich, the sandwich restaurant that makes classic Cubanos with quality ingredients, is opening a new restaurant in Wynwood.

The restaurant has just signed a ten-year lease to open a 1,350 square foot shop at Wynwood Plaza, located at 55-95 Northwest 29th Street , according to its website. Sanguich will join H&H Bagels, Pet spa S-Paw, Megaformer Studio, and Eternity Nail Salon at the multi-use center that combines residential, office, and retail space at the crossroads of Midtown Miami and Wynwood. Sanguich is scheduled to open summer of 2026.

When Sanguich first came onto Miami’s dining scene, it changed the Cuban sandwich game with owners Rosa and Daniel Figueredo brining their own ham and curing their own garlic confit pork. The sandwiches are finished with quality cheeses and house-made pickles, before being pressed onto preservative-free Cuban bread. For that quality and care, the humble little sandwich shop has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand designation.

That original Calle Ocho shop has multiplied, and there are now locations in Little Haiti, Aventura Mall, Coral Gables, and Bayside Marketplace — each location serving the same quality sandwiches, breakfast items, batidos (fruit shakes), and Cuban coffee.
