Back in July, What Now reported on plans for Tim Hortons, the coffee shop chain known for its massive popularity in Canada, to open a new location in Cedar Park, with an opening expected for Q3 2026.

As it happens, the Cedar Park location is not the only Tim Hortons currently in the works in the Austin area. This week, What Now came across a TDLR filing that shows another location planned for 9419 E Parmer Lane in Manor.

The filing calls for the construction of a new 1,400-square-foot Tim Hortons, with work expected to run from July 1 to December 31 at an estimated cost of $1.58 million.

“We’re projecting an opening at the end of this year or early next year,” franchisee Mehtaab Brar told What Now on Wednesday.

Brar has a deep connection with Tim Hortons and says he had long wanted to be involved in bringing it to the Austin area.

“My mom is from Toronto, and we would go there a few times a year to see family, and, of course, every time we were there, going to Tim Hortons was a family thing. When I found out they were starting to develop in the U.S., I thought it would be great to bring something from my mother’s side of the family to Austin.”

Austin currently has one Austin location, at 16201 Ranch Road. There, you can enjoy Tim Hortons favorites like the Iced Capp, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and more. Currently featured items include the Raspberry Pomegranate Lemonade Refresher, the Birthday Cake Donut, the Carrot Cake Muffin, and the Carrot Cake Iced Capp.
