Located at 11316 Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, Just Jerk Jamaican BBQ is a popular spot for Jamaican BBQ owned and operated by Jamaican-born Gary Williams, “who’s been dishing and serving up delicious cuisines for 20 years.

The menu features dishes like Jerk Chicken, Jerk Shrimp, and Stew Chicken, all of it reasonably priced.

“Absolutely by far THE BEST jerk chicken I’ve had in awhile!” says one 5-star review on Google. “This is the place you want to come to so spicy and good! Customer service is on 10 very polite and respectful. I HIGHLY recommend you eat here.”

“[Gary Williams] has owned, operated and created restaurant concepts such as Blimpie Subs & Salads, Nemos Seafood, Captain O’s Fish n Chips, London’s Fish and Chip and now Just Jerk BBQ,” says the Just Jerk BBQ website.

Now, Williams appears to be launching his next project. Paperwork submitted by Williams Estates Group LLC shows a new food truck, Geewiz Fun House Ice Cream, planned for a launch in Jacksonville.

What Now reached out to Williams on Friday to ask about plan for Geewiz. Williams was not immediately available for comment.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
