Aventura Mall is about to get a major fashion addition. Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced plans to open a new two-level store at the shopping destination, marking one of the brand’s first locations in South Florida.
The store will occupy the former Urban Outfitters space at 19501 Biscayne Blvd. and is expected to debut in late 2026. Known for its “LifeWear” philosophy, UNIQLO offers simple, functional, and affordable clothing designed for everyday wear. The retailer’s product lineup includes wardrobe basics, performance apparel, outerwear, and popular designer collaborations.
Founded in Japan in 1984, UNIQLO is owned by Tokyo-based Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., one of the world’s largest apparel companies. The brand has grown into a global retail powerhouse with more than 2,500 stores across 25 countries and regions, including Japan, China, South Korea, the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
The company has been rapidly expanding its U.S. footprint and announced Aventura Mall as part of a broader 2026 growth strategy that includes new locations in Miami, Austin, Houston, Boston, Seattle, and other major markets.
The Aventura location will join existing Florida stores at Disney Springs and Orlando’s Florida Mall, bringing the brand’s signature blend of quality, innovation, and value closer to South Florida shoppers.
