Aventura Mall is about to get a major fashion addition.
Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO is opening a new two-level store at the shopping destination, marking one of the brand’s first locations in South Florida. Right now, signs are up at the former Urban Outfitters space at Aventura Mall, located at 19501 Biscayne Boulevard. No exact opening date has been announced, though it’s expected to open late fall 2026.
Known for its “LifeWear” philosophy, UNIQLO offers simple and affordable clothing and basic wear. The retailer’s product lineup includes wardrobe basics, performance apparel, outerwear, and occasional designer collaborations. In addition, the stores often sell housewares, beauty items, and accessories.
Founded in Japan in 1984, UNIQLO is owned by Tokyo-based Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. The brand has grown into a global retail powerhouse with more than 2,500 stores across 25 countries and regions, including Japan, China, South Korea, the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
The company has been rapidly expanding its U.S. footprint and announced Aventura Mall as part of a broader 2026 growth strategy that includes new locations in Miami, Austin, Houston, Boston, and Seattle.
