A Copenhagen-based cafe is preparing for its arrival at a new DMV destination. Joe and The Juice, known for its extensive selection of juices, is opening a location in Union Station, with work underway, reports local media outlet PoPville.

The concept is joining the 50 Massachusetts Ave NE transportation hub in the space that previously housed Corner Bakery and Le Pain Quotidien. A clear opening timeline is not yet available, however signage is up and construction appears to be underway. Additionally, Joe and The Juice has begun recruiting staff for its Union Station home, a good indicator that an opening is on the horizon.

Founded in Denmark in 2002, Joe and The Juice has earned international success through its impressive array of juices, alongside a menu of delicious cafe favorites including sandwiches, breakfast bowls, smoothies, coffee, and tea.

Joe and The Juice is bringing more than just great food and drink to Union Station. The website explains: “Joe & the Juice is more than a juice bar. It is culture and a place where people get together for a vibrant and fun experience while eating and consuming healthy colourful products of high quality. And we will be happy to serve you no matter which juice is right for you.”
