A pair of Virginia vintners are preparing to usher in an exciting new era for the local wine scene. Ana Hirsbrunner and Waldemar Ortiz, the duo behind OH’s Vineyard, are preparing to launch OH’s Wine Salon later this summer, a debut certain to delight local vino enthusiasts.

Guests will be able to stop in for a glass of wine and a bite at 35246 Leesburg Pike, Suite 190. The 2,200 square foot space will have seating for up to 45 visitors and a scenic outdoor patio with a pond-view.

Ana Hirsbrunner kindly set aside some time to fill What Now DC in on OH’s Wine Salon-where it came from, where it is going, and what future regulars can look forward to. The concept, she explains has been in the making for quite some time. “We have been quietly producing wine for the last six years.” she states. “What started as a dream and years of behind-the-scenes work is finally becoming something we can share openly with the community.”

OH’s Wine Salon promises to be as much of a dream come true for area foodies and wine fans as it is for the team behind it. Hirsbrunner describes what the establishment will offer, saying: “In addition to our own wines, we will feature wines from other Virginia wineries and independent producers, along with wine cocktails crafted with local ingredients whenever possible. To complement the drinks, we will offer a curated small plates menu inspired by Nuevo Latino cuisine, sourcing ingredients from nearby farms and artisans as much as we can.”

OH’s Wine Salon will truly honor every aspect of wine, cultivating a space that acknowledges its impact geographically, economically, culinarily, and socially. Hirsbrunner states: “The wine salon will be much more than just a tasting room for OH’s Vineyard wines. Our vision is to create a welcoming, elevated space that celebrates Virginia wine, local producers, and the beautiful connection between food, wine, and community.”

Construction is actively underway on OH’s Wine Salon and the concept is projected to be completed by late July or early August. Hirsbrunner and the OH’s team are enthusiastic about welcoming new friends to the salon-she concludes: “We are incredibly excited to become part of the Round Hill community and to create a place where people can gather, discover Virginia wine, and experience what we have been building over the years.”
