The prolific Atlas Restaurant Group is bringing Maryland dining with a view this summer. The hospitality group is preparing to open Armada, “a vibrant cantina poised to energize Annapolis’ waterfront dining scene” in the coming months, adding to an already impressive roster of restaurants.
The concept is moving into the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel at 80 Compromise Street. A press release provided to What Now DC describes what lies in store once Armada opens its doors, saying it will: “bring a lively Mexican cantina centered around tacos, tequila, and dockside dining.”
Armada does not yet have an official opening date, however the countdown is certainly on. Erin Black, Atlas’s Vice President of Marketing and Design was kind enough to confirm that the hospitality group anticipates opening the eatery closer to July.
Armada will be able to accommodate up to 200 guests-100 inside and another 100 outside. The restaurant is destined to become an Annapolis culinary icon; as the website explains: “ From a wide range of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and more, Armada promises a culinary experience enriched by bold and vibrant flavors. The beverage menu is anchored by an extensive selection of tequila and agave spirits, inviting patrons to explore the diverse world of libations while soaking in the ambiance of waterfront dining.”
