Johnson’s Coffee Co., the mobile coffee and matcha trailer serving Orlando, has made a name for itself in the last nine months, serving up classic espresso drinks at lots of events.

This weekend alone, Johnson’s Coffee Co. will put in two appearances: at the House on Lang, at 1308 Lang Avem from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, together with Rollinbunz; and at 1600 Edgewater Dr from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

This summer, however, Johnson’s Coffee Co. will be launching its first permanent, brick-and-mortar cafe location. It’s opening at 1480 E Michigan Street, according to submitted plan review documents.

“We’re hoping to be open by July 1 at the latest,” owner Sean Johnson told What Now on Friday.

The menu will be expanded in the new space, Johnson said, as the brand adds drip coffee to its currently espresso-exclusive coffee repertoire and introduces more food items, like avocado toast, bagels, sourdoughs, and more pastries.

How has the brand been received in the 8-9 months since opening? What Now asked Johnson.

“The reception has been great. We can’t say enough for the people who follow us, who have gotten us to this point. We couldn’t be happier with the customers who have come by and the businesses we’ve worked with.”

Johnson’s Coffee Co. can be expected to share more details about the opening soon.
