A recently filed permit is certain to inspire enthusiasm in Memphis-area diners hungry for their next favorite restaurant. La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant has set its sights on a Germantown storefront, with paperwork currently under review by the powers that be.
The eatery has submitted an application for a certificate of occupancy with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development for its proposed 7730 Wolf River Boulevard home. The paperwork shows that La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant will be occupying a 3,000 square foot space.
In addition to this rather clinical data point, the application provides some insight into the scope of work the storefront will require. Stated plans include: “decorate, paint and bring furniture.” Additionally, the principal use is described as “Restaurant with sale of alcoholic beverages, Brew Pub”-a happy sign for those hoping to indulge in an adult beverage.
This will be the fourth storefront for La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, joining locations in Cordova, Collierville, and another in Germantown. The eatery has been an area staple since 1996 and has remained fully dedicated to being a good neighbor. The website explains: “La Hacienda puts down roots in the communities we serve. We strive to integrate ourselves into the fabric of the neighborhood by providing employment, establishing relationships and participating in civic life. Our guests, after all, have plenty of dining options, and the least we can do is repay their loyalty with ours.”
