A new reformer Pilates concept is taking shape in one of Dallas’ most design-forward neighborhoods. According to public filings, The Reformer Room plans to open at 1937 Irving Blvd., Suite D, in the Dallas Design District, with a completion date targeted for October 2026.
What Now Dallas reached out to founder Alexa Torres to inquire about the opening timeline but did not receive a response prior to publication. The concept is the brainchild of founder Alexa Torres, who told Voyager Dallas the studio was born out of a desire to fill a gap she personally experienced after years in the Pilates space.
In an interview with Voyager Dallas, Torres said education is central to the studio’s identity. “Many people are moving without fully understanding their bodies, the purpose behind the exercises, or how Pilates strengthens muscles closest to the joints,” she said, adding that beginner reformer classes will be a cornerstone of the offering — designed so clients feel “empowered, not overwhelmed.”
The studio enters a competitive but growing Dallas Pilates market, bringing a boutique, education-first approach to one of the city’s most design-forward neighborhoods.
Reformer Pilates has seen explosive growth in Dallas in recent years. The Reformer Room would enter the market with a distinct identity rooted in design and community, differentiating itself through its curated environment and welcoming ethos.
