Yats will close its Grandview restaurant on August 20 after 12 years in business. The restaurant’s brick-and-mortar location will close on August 20, marking the end of its 12 years of service. The restaurant will continue to serve its customers with its food truck services.

Yats to Shut Down Its Grandview Brick-and-Mortar Location

Yats, a local New Orleans-style joint known for serving Cajun comfort dishes. The restaurant was founded in 2014. The restaurant began its journey in Indianapolis and then expanded.

The menu includes dishes such as drunken chicken and gumbo. In the closure announcement shared on Facebook, the restaurant team penned an emotional message.

They said, “This wasn’t an easy decision, but what will never change is how grateful we are for every customer who walked through our doors, shared a meal, introduced a friend to Yats, or made us part of their lives.”

Yats, situated at 1386 Grandview Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, will close its doors after serving its final meal on August 20. In the post, the team did not share any official reason for its closure decision.

Food Truck to Continue Serving

The Yats team shared that the closure of its brick-and-mortar location does not mean a permanent goodbye. The story of the Yats restaurant in Ohio will be carried through its food truck service.

“Our Yats food truck will continue our catering operations and serving communities throughout Central Ohio, bringing your favorite dishes to festivals, breweries, private events, and neighborhoods across the region,” announced the Yats team.

The restaurant team thanked the customers and community for their support and invited them to visit the restaurant before its closure. More information about the food truck locations and events will be shared on the restaurant’s official social media page.

Although the restaurant will close, Yats will continue serving customers through its food truck across Central Ohio.
